Google データアナリティクスプロフェッショナル認定証を取得しました。名称はプロフェッショナルとありますが初級レベルです。
「データアナリストになりたい！」と意気込んで独立したものの、アナリストとサイエンティストとエンジニアの違いもわからなかった（無謀）漠然としたところから、受講を終えてやるべきことと流れがようやく見えてきました。
昨年末、日本リスキリングコンソーシアムが無料アカウントを配布したときは既に枠が埋まっていて一度諦めていたところ、今年4月に偶然登録できました。courseraという学習プラットフォームで提供されています。
週10時間で6ヶ月のプログラム、8コース構成、自分は1コースで終わると勘違いして、のんびり進めていました。が、無料アカウントには期限がありました。7コース残して期限に気付いたのがラスト一か月。期限を超えると有料プランに更新しないと受講が続けられない！

日常タスク以外の時間を受講につぎ込み、先日ようやく終えることができました。流石Google提供の内容でした。スプシ/Excel/SQL/Tabeau/kaggle/R/就職、ひととおり押さえてあってありがたすぎる。
これまでフロントエンドしかやってなかった自分にSQLやRのいろはは異国語だけども、顧客対応で使ったコミュ力や統計アルゴリズム、好きなビジュアライズは経験が生かせるから良かった。あとはやっぱり英語です。コミュニティもヘルプも事例も、英語ができないと手間も理解も遅れてしまう。
ノートPCの限界を感じてデスクトップに移行することにしました。会社員時代は自分のPCも持たなかったのに、この数か月で随分人生変わってるなあ。年齢は関係ない、きっと昔だったら諸々理由つけて現状に甘んじていた。いまは腹をくくれて、やりたい事が見つかって幸せだし、必死にもがいて、最期は笑いたいと思うようになりました。気持ちも新たに頑張ります。

I have achieved the Google Data Analytics Professional certificate. Although the name is professional, it is at the beginner level.
I want to be a data analyst!" and set off on my own with great enthusiasm, but from a (recklessly) vague place where I didn't even know the difference between an analyst, a scientist and an engineer, I finally got an idea of what I needed to do it.
The programme is offered through the education platform coursera.
It is a six-month programme of 10 hours a week, consisting of eight courses, and I was proceeded at a leisurely pace, mistakenly believing that I would finish in one course.
However, the free account had an expiry date: I had seven courses left and realised that the expiry date was in the 1 month. If I missed the deadline, I would have to join my paid plan to continue taking courses!
I put all my time away from my day job into the course and finally finished it the other day. The content was provided by Google, GoogleSheets/Excel/SQL/Tabeau/Kaggle/R/employment, I'm so grateful that they covered it all.
I've only worked on the front end, so SQL and R are foreign to me, but I'm happy to use my experience in communication skills, statistical algorithms and visualisation, which I like.
The other important thing is English. The community, help and case studies can't keep up with me if I don't understand English.
I felt the limitations of my laptop and decided to move to a desktop. I didn't even have my own PC when I was a company employee, but my life has changed a lot in the last few months.
Age has nothing to do with it, I'm sure in the past I wouldn't have been able to take up the challenge for various reasons. Now I've made up my mind, I'm happy to have found what I want to do and I want to struggle desperately and laugh at the end of my life.
I will do my best with a renewed spirit.
